My name is Dan Lancaster, and since 2003, I have given my life to one conviction: that every home — in every village, in every language — can become a lighthouse where Jesus is known.
My late wife Holli and I moved overseas in 2003 with our four children. For twelve years, we lived and served in Myanmar and Thailand, where I developed Follow Jesus Training — a way of making disciples and planting churches among people who cannot read. By God's grace, it has reached thousands and given rise to house churches around the world.
In 2015, we returned to the United States, and not long after, Holli went home to the Lord after a battle with ovarian cancer. Those were the hardest years of my life. But the calling did not lift. In 2017, I went back to work, and in 2019, I joined Cornerstone International, so the ministry could continue under a team that cares well for the people it sends.
Today, the work is simple and unhurried: I coach pastors in Burma, I help put Scripture and discipleship tools into languages that have never had them, and I travel to train believers who go on to train others
Alongside the field work, I'm the author of Powerful Prayers in the War Room and other books.
This is a support-based ministry — I am able to keep going because people choose to stand with me. If this work stirs something in you, I would be honored to have you as a partner: in prayer, and, if God leads you, in monthly support. However you respond, thank you for caring that the gospel reaches every home.
