The Johnson Family

The Johnsons are passionate about representing Jesus and inviting others to belong to His kingdom family. Through hospitality, intentional friendship, and servant leadership, they invite others into their everyday mission field.

Ben & Kelita have four amazing children: Zander, Selah, Haven, and Thaddeus. Each of their children plays a vital role in hearing the Lord and serving in Honduras.

Their ministry focus is working alongside GiveHope2Kids, which is a ministry all about empowering local families as foster parents. They will be using their talents and passions to help GiveHope2Kids expand their second campus. Ben is the project manager and enjoys working with the local Hondurans, staff members, and short-term mission teams.

One of their favorite parts of ministry is mentoring and discipling young adults. Ben and Kelita are also passionate about healthy marriages and healthy families.

The Johnsons lived and ministered in the remote jungle of Honduras from 2017 to 2019. They have served in their US-based home church from 2019 to 2022 with Ben as the associate pastor. The Lord has strengthened the Johnsons during their time back in the States since 2019 and is relaunching them back to serve Him in Honduras.

Because of their experiences on the mission field, they have a heart for strengthening and encouraging fellow missionaries.
